After growing up in a military family in Korea, Chu herself joined the army for a four year term. After her honorable discharge, she attended the prestigious Paul Mitchell Academy as she was enamored by the hair industry. Now at SEVEN, Chu thrives on cutting bobs and Asian hair. She appreciates the art of precision cutting and giving a person a renewed sense of confidence. While she loves being a stylist, Chu still feels a sense of duty to the armed forces and serving her country and is an active member of the reserves.
